With Ontario FINALLY announcing we’re heading into Stage 3 on July 16th we can all breathe a little easier knowing COVID restrictions are lifting. While I have been levelling up online with Orangetheory Live workouts, I have to admit that the gains are a lot more attainable in person.

My weight room is a little light these days, something about a pandemic spurs at-home enthusiasts to hog all the free weights or something…so I was particularly energized to get back to the studio and get my hands on the world-class coaches, rowers and equipment that Orangetheory Fitness is known for. Saddling up to my outdoor station, every single safety protocol was executed; from contact tracing and screening to enhanced cleaning no detail was too small to overlook.

And weights! And rowers! After completing a few reps my Coach Karen quickly swapped out my 10lb weights for 20lb dumbells. ✨ With lockdowns FINALLY lifting the workout options are ramping up the outdoor setup may just be a blip in our workout routine but that’s part of the process, rolling with the punches. You do the work by showing up, whether that is for their energetic online Live classes or in-studio. Splat points won’t wait for anyone!
