A tilt of the head, a burst of yellow—small signs that harvest is near. Sunflower season has arrived, ushering in the countdown to pumpkin spice everything. To capture these fleeting summer days is like sending a postcard back to your spring self. It’s a call to linger in the moment, to notice every detail. In Beaverton, The Sunflower Farm stands as a beacon, a gentle reminder to pause, to take it all in—well, you know the rest.
The Sunflower Farm Makes End-of-Summer Memories Happen
At just an hour-ish drive from Toronto, this picturesque farm sprawls a whopping 15 acres. Open since 2020, this farm, owned by local Beavertonian Ursula, has been buzzing since its inception. With an on-site barn built for events, weddings, engagements, and special events feel extra special under this golden glow.

Guests are welcome to meander around the farm, weaving through the fields that are shaped like an actual sunflower. Fun photo spots make for instant portraits. A raised deck affords a view like no other.
There’s also a wagon where the farm sells its wares, like honey, wild flowers and even cute farm t-shirts. A sandpit and petting zoo add some family fun.
