So long, Sears. T&T Supermarket has taken over the old department store in Toronto’s northeast end, at Fairview Mall. Occupying the lower level, the 36,000-square-foot space breathes new life into this empty part of the shopping centre. Conveniently located near the TTC entrance, T&T’s expansion means good things for those looking for authentic Asian eats.
STEP INSIDE THIS FUTURISTIC SHOPPING EXPERIENCE RIGHT AT FAIRVIEW MALL
T&T Supermarket was founded by Cindy Lee, an immigrant from Taiwan who saw the potential for importing Asian groceries to Canada. In 1993 the first stores opened out west, in BC. The strategy for growth meant adding stores in the East, with Alberta, and then finally, Ontario opening in 2002.

Named after her two daughters, Tiffany and Tina, T&T Supermarket quickly became the source for Asian groceries, snacks, beauty and produce. Introducing hard-to-find goods to the Canadian marketplace is a source of pride for the company.
The newest location features all the goodies you have come to love from T&T. Amazing seafood, super fresh produce, all the hype beauty and a well-stocked bakery.
With the proximity to the TTC, this new location also boasts a takeout window for grabbing street-style eats on the go.
WHERE FRESH MEETS FUN- T&T SUPERMARKET SETS THE BAR HIGH
The dedication to tracking and importing authentic Asian products is important to the brand. Cindy retired in 2014, and her daughter Tina was named CEO. Tina carries on her mother’s tradition of only the very best for her stores. In addition to the standard T&T offerings, the Fairview Mall location also includes a food hall, with well-loved restaurants like Fuwa Fuwa, Xing Fu Tang Bubble Tea and Hana Don.

Also new for the brand is the gift shop. Cutie pie stuffed animals, neat stationary and other imported items are perfect gift ideas for hard to buy for friends. It’s all about being curious. Going into T&T Supermarket is like a personal invitation to soak up Asian culture.
T&T Supermarket is open seven days a week. Hours are still TBC, but check back for an update. Download their app for the freshest deals.
