SonyaRecently, Canadian designers took to the runways and event spaces in and around the Yorkville area to introduce their Fall/Winter 2019 collections. Even though we are in the thick of winter now, what we saw gave us a sneak peek on what’s to come.
We were thrilled to see MacMillan’s flattering styles with her continued commitment on using vegan materials. MacMillan’s upcoming collection also takes inspiration from the 1990s with two modern-day plaids as well as a playful and sophisticated take on Canadian winter favourite — the puffy coat. Yes, winter outerwear doesn’t have to be boring! Also noted, a popular comeback with MacMillan’s patent trench coat with detail updates.
