Canadian Women in Food is a collective of creative culinary minds, forged together by talent and virtue, bringing some of Canada’s most innovative products to one nifty spot. This is more than just a website schlocking the latest kitchen gadget. This is a curated website with members that matter.
Doubling down on their efforts to bring a focus on females in the kitchen, Cheryl Appleton, in partnership with OMAI Creative have designed a shopping portal to present all the goodies in one space. The site, www.canadianwomeninfood.ca/shop puts a spotlight on their member’s offerings, with everything from nuts to seeds, to vegan cheese and soothing teas, there’s a wide variety of options to stock your fridge or pantry. With restrictions lifting and cottage season calling, the portal is a great resource to grab that hostess gift or picnic basket.
Showing your support for women in food is crucial to the development of a community and country. Women entrepreneurs deserve more recognition in media than their well-covered male counterparts. We’re excited at Auburn Lane to champion this spirit. We’re proud to announce that we are the official media partner for Canadian Women in Food, which means we’ll be
shouting highlighting marvelous members, such as Kristi Knowles from Mother Raw, and other dynamic chefs and food creators (Next up, Vanessa Yeung from Aphrodite Cooks).
