Earls Yorkville may have just opened but it’s already established itself as a destination for clever bites and picture-perfect cocktails. The Earls empire is deep. With locations holding court coast-to-coast, and in the US, the approachable format makes Earls a popular pick for pretty much anyone with a pulse.

Let’s face it- dining out isn’t what it used to be. Budgets are stretched and diners expect more from their date nights. Earls exceeds expectations with its accessible menu. From dietary restrictions to full-on feasts, Earls is set to surprise even the most fickle.

NO EGO, JUST GOOD TIMES AT EARLS YORKVILLE

Every little detail was designed with quiet elegance and comfort in mind at Earls Yorkville. Each iteration of the brand’s fleet exudes a little charm from its neighbourhood, and Yorkville’s shimmer is no different. Flanking Bay Street and housed right inside Manulife Centre, this new location is set to transform Yorkville into a destination for fun and frivolity, a departure from all the snobbery for sure.

Affordable luxury? Yes, please. You shouldn’t have to drop a bundle to enjoy a great night out. Earls is the answer to an upscale night out that won’t break the bank.

Opt-in on this fan favourite- Angry Chicken Lettuce Wraps are built to be shared

Chef David Wong executes a menu that is as extensive as inclusive. A full page dedicated to prime steaks is sandwiched by seafood options and a full plant-based menu. Favourites include the easy-to-share Angry Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($19.75) that could double as a full meal, with crispy puffed rice and sweet and spicy chicken. Ingredients are top-notch, with butter lettuce holding up fresh against the generous packages.

EASY TO PLEASE EVERYONE, WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT AT EARLS YORKVILLE

Cocktails are handcrafted and offer something for everyone and local Sommelier David Stansfield has a wonderful wine program appropriately priced

We also loved the Spicy Tuna Sushi Tacos ($19.50). Soy wrappers are a perfect vehicle for the spicy tuna and tender mango sections. The joy is in the sharing, and the appetizer options run deep. It’s hard to choose, but the Seafood Tower ($135.00) is a dazzling array of sea treats with all the accoutrements.

Featuring seafood favourites and some innovative add-ons. Fresh oysters and prawns are signature moves but with yuzu tuna tataki and crispy prawn roll, it’s a full complement to the lobster tail and saucy additions. On trend, Earls also offers a caviar add-on to enhance the briny experience.

EARLS YORKVILLE IS READY FOR HAPPY HOUR + WEEKEND BRUNCH

Next up, pizzas, of which the menu features four, are wonderful. Crispy crust (plus a gluten-aware option) and upscale toppings make these circles sing, we dove into the Kale + Mushroom Pizza ($22.75). White cheddar and caramelized onion bring kale to new levels, this is the new mushroom pizza we want on repeat. So decadent and different, this vegetarian pizza is a hit.

Ditto for the Margherita Pizza ($22.75) again with Chef relying on the best ingredients to make these humble pies go premium. Keeping it traditional, the Margherita relies on Fior di Latte mozzarella, Grana Padano, and fresh basil to achieve this gourmet goal.

FINISH SWEET, FINISH STRONG

Desserts are a wonderful finish. A seasonally festive Molten Gingerbread Cake ($12.50) shows restraint on the sweetness front, it’s not too sugary, but a truly warm and comforting dish with vanilla ice cream and gingerbread cookie crumble. Or, you could always tuck into a signature Espresso Martini and enjoy the playlist (it’s quite good with noticeable 90’s hip hop tracks).

We’re celebrating Earls Yorkville and this exciting opening. Thank you to the Earls team for hosting.
