MARKET IS RIPE FOR CHANGE, CANNABIS CULTURE IS ON THE RISE

Being a stoner used to leave a negative impression. Now, the newly coined term ‘Cali Sober‘ offers a distinct quintessential coolness, an effortless come-what-may attitude that is always on trend. Being a sloppy drunk is never a good look, but now with more and more like-minded people adopting a green lifestyle, it’s become more noticeable when Frank the Tank comes to the party.

But smoking is unattractive, and gummies can be overwhelming. Precision is a key characteristic to Djot’s ethos. Co-founder and CEO Elad Barak came up with the idea after being prescribed painkillers post-surgery. Frustrated with the mechanics and delivery mechanism for pain relief, Elad sees the rise of Djot past merely cannabis, but for any liquid concentrate that requires precision dosing. The lack of control and ability to microdose were integral to the creation of this device.

HEAD IN THE CLOUDS, HEART IN THE RIGHT PLACE

The tagline of ‘Seize the Drop,’ embodies the delivery method or dPods, which include lifestyle leans like Lift (mostly THC), Ease (mostly CBD), or Love (a 1:1 blend). The cartridge slips inside (which is completely childproof) and they’re totally interchangeable.

You can select a tiny amount of your chosen liquid, and the intuitive soon-to-launch companion app is comprehensive. You can track not only the amounts you intake but also build in how you slept to measure how your body reacts to your dosage.

The doses are remarkably unremarkable. Only a slight taste is detectable, which means you can add this to whatever you are ingesting. From coffee in the morning to nighttime tipples, there’s nothing off the table when it comes to Djot.

Djot drops in-store and online on May 8th 2023. It was launched in 2019 by Canadian entrepreneurs Elad Barak and Arjen Melis.
