Since his big-screen debut in Steamboat Willie on November 18, 1928, Mickey has become the global ambassador for The Walt Disney Company. In celebration of his 90th year as a global icon, on November 20, Mickey Mouse, the “True Original”, will visit Toronto as part of his year-long birthday bash.

As soon as Mickey’s birthday wraps on November 18, he is headed North to keep the celebrations going in Toronto. Mickey has set aside a full day to explore Canada’s biggest city and is calling on Toronto to help create an itinerary for his special day that will allow him to experience the unrivalled sights the city has to offer.

Torontonians can visit or follow #MickeyinTO to vote on a list of the city’s top photo-worthy destinations for Mickey to visit on November 20. From the Heart in the Distillery District to the Toronto sign at Nathan Phillips Square or the Chester Hill Lookout off the Danforth, Toronto gets to vote and Mickey can’t wait! Which truly original Toronto spots will the True Original visit!

Once the voting closes, the four destinations Mickey will visit will be announced publicly on November 19. Each stop on the tour will provide fans throughout the city the opportunity to celebrate alongside Mickey Mouse at one (or all!) of the select #MickeyInTO locations. Voting will be open until November 15.
