We’re getting ready to ring in the New Year and we are running with the kitchen party theme! It’s all about gathering together with our friends and families having crowd-pleasing and yummy snacks on hand.

Alina Fintineanu, also known as the Luxe Baker, was a competitor on season five of The Great Canadian Baking Show and has teamed up with Jack Daniel’s to create a few original recipes perfect for any gathering! 3 cups nuts of choice: raw macadamias, pecans, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds
5 tbsp organic golden cane sugar (or sugar of choice)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed chili flakes
1⁄2 cup maple syrup
1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract
2-4 tsp Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack

Preheat oven to 350F. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, toss well to coat. Spread nuts on a silicone lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, tossing to coat at the halfway mark. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Use a metal spoon to scrape through and break up the nuts before they set too hard. Sugar will harden more as it cools. Divide into pretty jars, add a festive ribbon and gift with Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack!
