The thing about the holiday season is it has a way of sneaking up on you. You think you’re ready for everything until you get an invitation for another party and you’re not sure what you’ll wear or how much it is going to cost. Let me introduce you to Signature by Reitmans (found here). Signature by Reitmans is a specially curated collection of elevated party wear, designed for all of the celebrations the holiday season brings. It’s a mix of dresses, ornate party tops, accessories plus the BEST velvet blazer I have found (and trust me I have been looking).
The colour options in this collection of party tops is wonderful – from bold pinks and reds to subtle blacks and silver there is a colour for everyone. I chose this gold top with subtle hints of silver and gold because of how versatile it is. I can pair it with black pants, jeans or a beautiful pencil skirt. It can also be worn from desk to dinner – holiday ready for any office party.
This velvet blazer is perfect for so many reasons. Let me list a few for you:
- The velvet is super soft
- There is no pesky button, how many times do we really button our blazers?
- Great length for tall girls like me or any other girl for that matter
- The cut of the blazer is wonderful, enough structure to keep it classic. This is hard to achieve with velvet
I kept accessories and shoes in classic black. This black sparkly cuff is also from the Signature collection. These black pants are the perfect cigarette pant. I have already paired them with many things in my closet and get ready for them to be on repeat in my life and on this blog. They are TALL but I know they come in regular and petite.
Remember to shop your own closet. I kept the colours neutral for this outfit because I have great shoes and a handbag that would pair perfectly with this new outfit. I paired high low pieces for a lux look that’s perfect for any party.
