LibbyHotel X Toronto seemed to have grown out of nowhere, blooming overnight into one of the city’s hottest hotels. Anchored between BMO Field, Enercare Centre and Molson Amphitheatre</del datetime=”2019-10-04T17:59:04+00:00″> Budweiser Stage, the hotel, by Library Hotel Collection injects a dash of the unexpected to this parcel of lake-side land.

The stunning property boasts the usual hotel niceties, but here, they are state of the art, with no detail left untouched. The soaring suites, flanked with picturesque lakeside views are spacious and well-appointed. Part of the Library Collection, known for some of NYC’s finest hotels, they are following a very sophisticated script, one that weaves all the high-end flourishes you seek, with a modern aesthetic that anchors the property as one of Toronto’s best.

The eco and pet friendly property positions itself as as a destination for doing- concerts, sporting events, conferences, or a stay before jetting off from nearby Billy Bishop all make for splendid stays. There is a rooftop pool for summer time, and a second pool coming for the glorious 10XTO gym. The newly minted Guerlain Spa provides the perfect incentive to break a sweat, with a full menu of services ready for you when you finish.

And morning workouts wouldn’t be a thing without some caffeination, and thankfully that’s no problem with in-room coffee makers, powered by Nespresso. If you’re looking for a bite with your brew, then head to the onsite Nespresso Cafe, open daily to froth your milk for you, but you can also opt for full sitdown service at Pétros82 or the more casual Maxx’s Kitchen. The Library Lounge Club offers free breakfast and bites for happy hour. The Falcon SkyBar is more fitting for last call, a prime spot for people watching and grabbing drinks at the end of the day, with the city acting as a perfect backdrop (or wing man!).

But our favourite feature? The Cinema! We love the call to come out of your comfortable room (put on pants first) and join fellow guests for free screenings of classic movies. With 250 seats you’d be hard pressed to get all your friends in here, but wouldn’t it be fun to try?
