These portable cocktails make it a cinch to grab and go and capture the fleeting moments of everyone’s favourite season. Summer! We profiled dozens of drinks (burp) to bring you the best the LCBO has to offer. These five cocktails are refreshing, crisp and not too sweet. A perfect kick-off to cheers the queen’s birthday, the royal wedding, and maybe some fireworks too.
Cabana Coast- Moscow Mule
This party in a can mixes everyone’s favourite classic cocktail all in one nifty package, no fancy copper mug required. Ginger beer and fresh lime meet vodka in this summer sipper, and at $2.95 for 473ml, this made in Quebec treasure is budget friendly too.
Truly- Spiked & Sparkling
So brand spanking new it’s just been released to the LCBO this month, this svelte sparkler is a refreshing dose of summer fun, and at only 100 calories per 355ml can, and only 1g of sugar, it’s pretty guilt free too! Fancy Colima Limes up the ante and invite memories from your last Mexican vacay. Olé!
Muskoka- Gin & Tonic
Also new to the market is Muskoka Spirits, yeah, the beer company, and their new Gin & Tonic cocktail, the aptly named Docker. Fresh cucumber sets the scene for this G&T, made with their own in house-made Oddity Gin. Look for this cocktail to make a splash this month at your local LCBO.

The newest flavour from this local spirit maker is their best yet, with bouncy pomelo and grapefruit setting the tone for a super skinny 80 calorie cocktail. A four pack will set you back $9.95, so maybe mix and match, their ginger + lime flavour is a classic.
Ace Hill- Pineapple
Fruity and light, this bubbler is reminiscent of a Piña Colada, without the crippling calories and cherry garnish. Locally made in Toronto, this vodka soda blend is made with organic pineapple and a hit of citrus, a sublime summer sipper.
