Winter has arrived with our first blanket of snow. That had me rushing to the coat closet and pulling out every coat I have in my possession. I admit to having a bit of an obsession with coats. It may be because our winters are long, cold and we plunge into darkness for months. But it doesn’t mean we have to always resort to our go-to black puffy coats. The options are a plenty — maybe it’s the whole ‘Emily in Paris’ effect that has me drawn more to colours and stylish offerings this season? Maybe it’s the desire to be hugged with happy, cheery colours. Regardless, a good statement coat is unforgettable — even if you’re like me and wear head-to-toe black underneath all season long. Here are some styles I’m lusting over this season.
