What is a CrispLid, you ask? It’s an attachment that will turn your 6-8quart electric pressure cooker into an air fryer. You can also pop it on to brown the top of dishes that you have cooked in the pressure cooker – I use to crisp up the top of things like bread puddings or whole chicken to save me from having to take it out of the Instant Pot and then transfer it to the oven, under the broiler.

Same great Air Fryer lid but now with a deeper frying basket

The only real con with the CrispLid is that it has a small capacity so if you are cooking for more than 2 or 3 people, you have to make some stuff in batches but now, with a deeper basket, you can cook more at once, just stopping a time or time, mid cook and giving the food a toss. It’s also great for cooking things that require a bit more depth. I got the deep basket about a week ago and I can finally cook chicken wings for all three of us in one batch, again, moving the wings around a couple times while cooking, to make sure they all get nice and crispy.
