Cocktail Emporium is toasting the launch of their third location now open at Union Station. This compact cutie is part of the on-going revitalization of the historic transit hub, and an all-Canadian coup of retailers are featured on the lower level Front Street Promenade with the original 1927 storefronts.

Founder Kristen Voisey concocted Cocktail Emporium back in 2011, opening her first location on Queen West. While she wasn’t in the industry, she admits she “spent a lot of time on the other side of the bar”, and obviously was taking notes, her stores stock unique tinctures, mixes and deluxe glassware, including some she personally designs.

Decanters and accessories round out the offerings, with many items exclusively sold through her three shops, and through her on-line store. Supasawa, Seedlip and new to market alcohol-free gin Søbrii and Grüvi Prosecco are hot new products, and with edibles and powdered cannabis coming to market, it’s a timely take on a modern-day libation.

While the space is technically unlicensed, mocktails and demos are still part of the shopping experiences, with staff creating alcohol-free drinks for you to sample while you shop.

Find Cocktail Emporium at Union Station (65 Front St W, Toronto) on the Lower Level near other Toronto-proud retailers like Peace Collective and Pilot Coffee Roasters.
Cocktail Emporium is open seven days a week- Mondays through Fridays from 8am to 7pm; Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 7pm.
