use decarb cannabis for these infused cauliflower wings

Who needs chicken wings when you can have cannabis infused cauliflower wings instead? I have shown you how to decarb cannabis, and this is another recipe to utilize your end product. You don’t have to be a vegetarian to love these bundles of spicy cauliflower goodness. Frankly, I enjoy oven-baked cauliflower over oven-baked chicken wings anyway, and regardless, I don’t really like deep frying in my tiny kitchen.

They are easy to make and delicious to eat, and it is up to you whether you split the dish between the four of you or make it part of a more extensive infused menu and stretch it out to serve 8 people 5mgs of THC each.

Classic Franks Red Hot sauce is the perfect vehicle to use up some of that canna butter you have in the fridge. It has so much flavour and heat that even if some of your friends don’t care for the taste of weedy butter, the Franks overpowers any flower flavour.

Cauliflower “Wings” with Infused Hot Sauce and Blue Cheese Dip

makes 4 servings of 10mg TCH per serving

Cauliflower “Wings”

a head cauliflower, broken up into florets

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup water

1 cup AP flour

2 cloves minced garlic

1 tsp kosher salt

freshly ground black pepper

Spray oil

Preheat the oven to 450F

Position a rack on the lowest rung and put your parchment-lined baking tray in the oven to preheat.

Meanwhile, whisk the buttermilk, water, flour, garlic, salt, and a few grinds of pepper in a big bowl large enough to hold all the cauliflower. Add the cauliflower florets and toss them around (or use a big silicone spatula) in the batter until they are evenly coated.

Take the hot baking tray out of the oven and spray some oil onto it before tipping the battered cauliflower out onto it. It will give a lovely sizzle as you shake it out and spread the florets out to have some space around them to allow for optimum crispness.

Bake for 18 minutes.

Take them out and toss them in a big bowl with your sauce of choice or, you could also drizzle it over the cauliflower straight on the pan. Stir them around to coat them in the sauce. Return the pan to the bottom rack and cook for five more minutes. Take the pan back out, plate, and serve.

Wing Sauce – the total recipe has approx 40 mg THC so 4 servings of 10mg THC

8 tbls Franks Red Hot Sauce

3 Tbls infused canna butter made from decarb cannabis

3 tbls butter

1 1/2 tbls white vinegar

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Heat all the ingredients in a small pot over medium-low heat until the butter is melted. Before you taste, adjust for salt and keep warm.

*as always, the recipe assumes you are using my ratios to make your canna butter but if you have made it stronger or weaker, adjust the amount of infused butter accordingly as long as you end up with a total of 6 tbls of butter and 40mg of THC

this dip is a bit lighter than classic blue cheese dip so you can eat more!

Blue Cheese Dip

1/4 cup greek yogurt

2 tbls mayo

1 tbls buttermilk

1 tbls white balsamic vinegar

pinch kosher salt

1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Mix all the ingredients together before folding in the cheese.
