After an unfortunate pandemic blip Beerhurst at Deerhurst Craft Beer Festival finally returns to its winter roots after a successful spring event in 2022.
For its 3rd anniversary, the organizers are bringing it back to the ’80s and ’90s by throwing a wild party with some of Ontario’s finest craft breweries in the most picturesque of locations. If last year’s May event with cover band great Dwayne Gretzky was any indication of how this year is gonna go I highly recommend everyone grab a ticket.
If you’re local to the area, you’re familiar with Deerhurst Resort, one of Ontario’s oldest continually operating resorts. This landmark hotel is situated in beautiful Muskoka with year-round activities that meets everyone’s needs. And from March 3-5 it’s a beer lovers paradise.
Want to just go to Beerhurst at Deerhurst if you’re in the area?
Tickets are only $59 per person plus tax and include two ‘Brews & Food’ tickets, a souvenir beer glass, festival admission and an Epic ’90s dance party with ‘Toronto’s party band’ Lindsay Brohan.
Don’t want to worry about finding a way home? Overnight packages include accommodation at the resort, two ‘Brews & Food’ tickets, a souvenir beer glass, festival admission and of course we can’t forget that Saturday night party.
But why not make a whole weekend of it. Deerhurst has you covered. The two night package adds the additional Friday night ’80s pre-party with late night pizza and wings.
It’s not just all about the late night partying and early morning hangovers. The nightly resort fees allow you to spend your afternoons enjoying cross country skiing, snowshoeing, kick sledding, winter disc golf and other recreational activities. There is even a special afternoon beer skate. Last Spring the “Beer Hike” took us up the trails to a glorious view with beer and snacks so no doubt Beerhurst has some perks ready. And if skating isn’t your thing, hang out by the fire.
If the long list of amazing breweries like Couchiching Craft Brewing Co., Trestle Brewing Company, Waterloo Brewing, Bench Brewing Company, Muskoka Brewery and Lakes of Bays Brewing Co. doesn’t peak your interest then the guaranteed dance party certainly will.
So grab your scrunchies, blue eye shadow, jelly shoes and double popped collars and I will see you on the dance floor! Beer in hand of course.
