Internationally recognized fashion designer, Zac Posen has collaborated with Monogram to create a sophisticated custom designed piece for the kitchen. Inspired by how clothing wraps around the body and how different shapes move around, this design is a real showcase of how unique the brand can be. The elevated style-meets-function Monogram panel piece will be shown in Canada for the first time at the Interior Design Show (IDS) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre January 17 to 20, 2019. Posen will be in attendance on Opening Night at the Monogram exhibit.
Aside from being one of the most talented designers of our time, did you know that Posen is also a cookbook author and culinary enthusiast? Whether planning a meal, creating a collection or designing the Monogram panel, Zac’s goal is to create a masterpiece. When it comes to preparing a meal, Zac believes in a balance between healthy, fresh and local ingredients and exotic international dishes. He infused the thoughtful approach he takes for entertaining in his inspirational Monogram Column Refrigerator Panel.
“For me, creativity and inspiration comes from playing with form and shape. There is a level of precision and detail. It really startswith the material. I’m a great believer in handcrafted products. It’s really part of the DNA of who I am, of my brand and the clothingI make. The Monogram Column Refrigerator is elegant, it is meticulously crafted, it’s a hand finished product so it really deserved of an equally beautiful door panel,” says Zac Posen.
This handcrafted appliance utilizes premium materials and functional features of LED lighting, hydrophobic glass and stainless-steel accents.
