Spring is here and there are celebrations that are still worth acknowledging even in these days of social distancing. While we are self-isolating we’re also looking for ways to support small businesses and artisans more so than ever before. Check your calendars for an upcoming spring birthday, Mother’s Day (ahem), graduation or just want to say a “thank you” or “I’m thinking about you”. There are MANY great Canadian artisans on ETSY that we love! Here are some thoughtful ideas we’ve come across as we join the #StandWithSmall business movement…

Textile Goods by Luuee: This artisan creates some fun everyday catchalls that make us LOL. Can’t help but love this “motherfuckin queen” ($20) basket great for tossing in whatever – phone, keys, spare change.

Toddler safe wooden knife and cutting board by Jeremy Fruit Furniture: ($27) Since many of us are spending more time in the kitchen, this darling set helps little ones get in on the prep action. Personalize with child’s initials.

Bandanas by StumpyPaws Bowtique: ($10+) There are many options but we’ve found this particular Etsy seller’s fabric selection, quality and craft exceptional. Bubble tea, Sushi, Donuts, and double-sided fabric options. So, it’s two in one! Option also to personalize with several fonts available. Wearable options include 3-snap variations for growing pups or a collar slip-on.
